Got a call this morning from my friend, Kenny Davis. He loves Fulton and helps him almost daily.Kenny was telling me Fulton needs new glasses. The nurses mentioned to him, Fulton kept wanting to remove his glasses and then wouldn’t let them be put back on. When they asked him what was the problem? He pointed to his head. He was saying the glasses were giving him a headache. So, now we are working to get Fulton new glasses that have been made just for him.
It got me wondering how much Fulton really does see. One doctor told me his peripheral vision is not good. The glasses themselves are often heavily smudged, just one more consequence of a tragic car accident. But I take comfort, Fulton will soon be with Jesus and his vision will be far beyond anything we could ever imagine. Meanwhile, may God help him with his headaches and may he love the vision his new glasses will give him. Pray for us, we are off to get the best we can for him!
King David said to God, “Be generous with me and I’ll live a full life; not for a minute will I take my eyes off your road. Open my eyes so I can see what you show me of your miracle-wonders.” Psalm 119:17-18 (The Message)
