Here’s a word from Dawson… Scripture says this in Psalms 22, “For He has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one.” Isn’t that good to know? God’s not making fun of us. He doesn’t go, look at you, you’re down there squirreling around, hurting and don’t know what you’re doing. “He has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one.” And you may feel very very afflicted tonight. God’s not laughing. God’s with you right where you are…loving on you. “He has not hidden His face from him but has listened to his cry for help.” Think of that. Middle of the night, you’re dying, your heart’s been broken, something has broken your heart and you’re sobbing away. Well, He has listened to your cry for help. That’s the kind of God we’re talking about. The kind of God that can truly help us, because He’s got a big heart and big plans. He’s God. “For He has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; He has not hidden His face from him but has listened to his cry for help.” Psalms 22:24 My friend, Dawson McAllister, created a legacy of prayer, and that’s why we want to pray for you.
