“So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It shall not return to me empty.”

What’s God’s Purpose in Your Life?

Here’s a word from Dawson…

I’m very much fired up, as they say in Texas, fired up, because God wants to accomplish something in your life.

“So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It shall not return to me empty.”

A lot of words go out in our culture… yakity-yakity… blah-blah-blah… talk this… talk that… it’s empty calories, there’s nothing really there. God says when my word goes out, it’s not going to come back empty. I will accomplish what I desire. Trust me, God wants to accomplish something in your life. He’s got you here. This is not random. God is not into random. He has something He wants to accomplish in your life.

“To achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” He’s got a purpose in your life. He’s got a plan. Not empty words, but words that will change your life. Listen intently! Listen to God! He always keeps His word. He never gives you empty words. That’s not God. Let’s listen, let’s act, and let’s see what God does.

My friend, Dawson McAllister, created many timely life lessons for the everyday challenges we all face, I’m honored to continue sharing them with you each week.

  1. Hello to be fairly honest I feel half empty when I sometimes hear God’s word like when they say or tell you “God loves you” or” God told me to you he loves you”. To me its like a knife pinch in my heart every time. I’m not much a believer to far as believing the love of God for me as individual because I feel lock away in a box hold the key to my unknown heart no one cares to see or feel what I’ve been feeling a long time. Yes, I believe he’s the savior of the world not so much of unconditional love for me as person. Who has not been loved by the human race in this as much. More like a lost soul finding a way home trying to find my somewhere in this world. Thanks for the imput.

  2. Amber, God wants to welcome you home and say, “Amber, your lost soul is no longer lost.” He wants to know you intimately. He wants you to surrender all of you to all of Him. He wants you to love Him with all of your heart, mind and soul. It’s the only way to fully grasp how much He loves you and what that actually means. He is the Savior and He can be your Savior, if you confess your sin and then ask him to come into your heart. You can learn more about God here: https://www.thehopeline.com/learn-more-about-god/. God says if you seek Him with all of your heart, you will find Him!
