Dear Praying Friend,
What a journey it has been. We continue to see God work even in very difficult and confusing situations. First, here is some very good news! My wife, Ruth Hill, has gotten the all-clear by her first surgeon, and it was decided she does not need chemo or radiation for the uterine cancer. According to the doctors, it’s gone.
Her breast cancer seems to be clear as well. However, her oncologist wants her to see two other doctors to decide how to proceed to prevent the breast cancer from coming back, but it is all very good news and we are praising God for His goodness!
Now, about Fulton, the doctors seemed to have found what is causing him to get so sick. His pneumonia is gone and all his vital signs are good but it appears, Fulton is suffering from Ileus, which is a temporary and often painful lack of movement in the intestines. It occurs when the intestines do not move food through in the normal way. This is a very serious condition and can lead to death.
It’s been three weeks now and Fulton is worn out, but he wants to continue to live on to reach others for Christ. I’m convinced without your prayers, he would have left us a long time ago. God still has great things for him so please keep praying! The battle is worth the fight!
“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.” Habakkuk 3:17-19
God bless you! I’ll keep you posted about our journey. Thank you for being there for us. We love you very much!
