“Wait on the Lord. Be of good courage.”

Wait, I say, on the Lord!

Here’s a word from Dawson…

Here’s a verse, a simple little verse, Psalm 27:14, “Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!”

Is that powerful or what? The hardest thing in the world to do is wait or be of good courage. Our courage evaporates quickly if we are not in the Word, and in God’s will, and around other Christians, and obeying God no matter what.

“Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage.”

How’s your courage tonight? You about to bail out? Trust me, I’ve been there. But I believe God’s going to see you through tonight. I believe he’s really going to help you if you’ll wait on the Lord and be of good courage.

“He shall strengthen your heart.”

You don’t have to do it. He’s the strengthener. You come before God, and say, “God, I lack courage tonight, and I’m impatient.” Tell him the truth. God says, let me do a little heart surgery on you here. Let me strengthen your heart to help you through this.

“Wait, I say, on the Lord.”

Maybe you’ve been waiting and waiting and waiting and nothing’s happened in your point of view. He wants to encourage you!

Psalm 27:14, “Wait on the Lord. Be of good courage.”

Let him do heart surgery on you.

“Wait, I say,” David said, “Wait, I say, on the Lord,”

If you’re doing that, you’re on your way to some tremendous victory. He’ll transform your life if you wait and be of good courage. He’s waiting on you to wait. So, give it a shot.
