It’s up and down time again in the McAllister world. Fulton had another relapse. His temperature skyrocketed up to 103. His blood pressure was high and he was sweating profusely. The nurses worked diligently to help stabilize him. It was extremely difficult for all of us. I wasn’t sure he was going to make it through the day. The doctors hope to be able to pull the tube out of Fulton’s chest but there is still infection in the lining of his lungs. They are telling us he has both pneumonia and is septic.
This whole time has been a real struggle for my family and me, as we fight against this vicious bacteria. It is really difficult to see him in this situation. Please pray there will be a real breakthrough and Fulton will be healed. It’s at times like this, all we can do is to hang on and believe in God no matter. I’m pleading with you again because your prayers are so powerful. I don’t know what I would do without you.
I am reminded of the verse in Romans 12:12, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” God bless you. I’ll keep you posted.
