Philippians 1:3

Thank You for Praying

As you know, my wife, Ruth Hill, is recovering from a hysterectomy with her ongoing battle with cancer. She is doing very well. The surgeon is confident things are headed in the right direction. The surgeon examined the organs and did not see any cancer. They did find some swollen lymph nodes. They have been sent to the pathologist to see if there is any cancer still there. If she finds some, she will start chemotherapy and radiation soon.

On Monday, June 24th, Ruth Hill will go in for her second surgery, to remove the breast cancer. Facing cancer is one big challenge but your prayers will help see her through. I can’t begin to thank you for all your prayers for her. We have received hundreds of responses. It’s just been amazing! Please keep praying for Ruth Hill. The battle is not yet over. There are many challenges ahead. I praise God you are there to help us face these challenges. God bless you and have a great day!

  1. Praying for your entire family during this time. I know that God has you in his loving hands and will provide for your needs everyday. Thank you Lord for loving us all the time.

  2. Thank you for the update. We will be praying for complete healing, physically, emotionally, and that she will continually dwell on the Lord, praising him through her suffering. He is able! Psalm 94:19

  3. Thank you for the update on Ruth Hill. Praying for continued healing in her body even now. May God bless you and your family as you go through another ordeal.

  4. Thank you so much for the update. I am and have been praying for her. Years ago she had a great impact in my life as my mentor!

  5. So thankful for an encouraging report following her surgery! I’ll keep praying for a good report, another successful surgery, and for all of you as you take this journey together. A song that just came to my mind, a good one in rough times, is an old favorite, “Love Lifted Me”! God Bless You All!

  6. Dawson,

My prayers continue for Jesus’ healing touch on Ruth, and the same for Fulton. Also prayers for the Lord to calm your spirit.

Also prayers for the youth of our nation and world.

  7. I thank God for his healing power for Ruth and all facing health challenges. God is still a healer. My sincere hope is that you will continue to trust in the Lord no matter what news you hear. My sincere hope is that you will stand in the gap for Ruth as God continues to work through all medical individuals and medication. My hope is that Ruth will see God through all of this and continue to hold on to HIS trusting, faithful hand. Granted, this is a surprise to all however, not a surprise to the Lord. With that being said he has his child in the palm of HIS mighty healing hand. Please, continue to surround her with healing scriptures and place your healing hands upon her. God has given us all to call sickness out with power and authority. However, we must choose to believe. Amen!!

  8. Dawson,
We are encouraged and hopeful as Ruth Hill continues her recovery. We will be praying her through this next surgery next Monday. Trusting God for all things is sometimes difficult for all of us. You and Ruth Hill have a very special bond with our dear Lord and He will be with you each step on this journey.
    Warmest regards,
    Ron and Nancy
