Jeremiah 31:3

I love You and I Always Will

I want to give you an update about Fulton, my son, who is struggling with pneumonia. This last week has been a real yo-yo situation. One day I feel he’s going to be just fine and the next just the opposite. He had a 24 hour period where I thought he was going to die, he was so sick, yet Fulton’s still with us. He’s stable, alert, and doing much better today. Your prayers have made all the difference in the world.

There’s one incident I will always remember. I was standing next to Fulton’s bed, trying to encourage him. But he was slipping in and out of alertness. I decided the best thing I could do for him at that moment was to leave and let him rest. As I got to the door, I turned back and looked at him and said, “I just wish you knew how much I love you!” He didn’t respond. But God spoke to me and said, “And I wish you knew how much I love you!” Here God was once again, using my son to teach me life’s lessons. God says in His word, “I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” (Jeremiah 31:3)

In the midst of this very difficult time, God’s love is blasting through with a simple message: I love you and I always will. Perhaps you are like me, having to face hard things. Just remember, God wants us to know how much He loves you and me. Please keep praying for Fulton. We are still believing for a miracle!

Your Friend,

More details on Fulton:

He was placed on a ventilator a few days ago and is currently on a low setting. Part of what was causing his pneumonia was food getting into his lungs, so they’ve replaced his feeding tube and put it lower, into his colon. This will decrease the risk of food getting into his lungs. He has struggled with rapid heartbeat and shallow breathing, but the doctors have him in a stable situation for now. Praise the Lord!

  3. Fulton’s life is such a blessing to us as we read about his journey. Still believing our Lord for healing for him….but he’s doing pretty good. He can minister to others without saying a word. He brings joy into his world, and so many people are praying for him, and your family. In the name of Jesus, and all the power & authority in His name, I command Fulton’s body to be restored, his mind cleared, his speech to be returned, and his testimony to be a voice of the splendour and goodness of our God! Thank you Lord, in Your Holy Name!! amen

  4. Hey Dawson, Your note reminds me of this beautiful passage: “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! Matthew 7:9‭, ‬11 NIV
Dear God, We thank you for all the good gifts that have carried Fulton and his family through this rough week. We are so thankful that the doctors were able to put that feeding tube lower down , past his lungs. WE pray your healing power over his body and ask for endurance and patience from his family. We ask that your you provide for Fulton, and carry him through this time. And open the eyes of family and all those in contact with Fulton, to pray, and be witness to the good gifts you extend, when we still choose you, despite our hardships and suffering, like Dawson did, choose to keep our eyes focused on you, and your goodness! IN Jesus mighty name, AMEN!

  5. I am continuing in prayer for Fulton and your entire family and ministry, Dawson. There are no words that can describe this roller coaster you all are on, but God’s glory continues to shine through and to be a blessing to so many. God’s grace and mercy is with you always, and especially in times when we cannot see clearly, He can, and will guide our paths exactly as they should be. Dear Gracious Heavenly Father, may we all continue to see the miracle of Fulton’s life, and may he be restored to health according to your perfect will and plan. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

  6. You have been such a blessing to so many throughout the years. It’s hard to believe I listened to your program almost 30 years ago when my own son was only 5 years old. God takes us through so much, but he is always good, and brings such hope in the midst of trouble and trials. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
