“This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life.”

God’s Word is My Comfort

Here’s a word from Dawson…

“This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life.” Psalm 119:50

David said this, “For this is my comfort in my affliction.” We all have affliction, come on, you know you do. Some to greater degrees than others and in different parts of our lives, but affliction is part of life.

“This is my comfort in my affliction.”

David says I got affliction, but I also have comfort. What’s the comfort? “Your word has given me life.”

Our problems are so great, our issues are so great, that unless God intervenes, we don’t have a prayer. And that’s why we pray. Too big for us; not too big for God, as revealed in His word.

My friend, Dawson McAllister, created many timely life lessons for the everyday challenges we all face, I’m honored to continue sharing them with you each week.
