Isaiah 41:10

God Will Help During Troubling Times

Dear Praying Friend,

I hope all is well with you during these troubling times. It amazes me how quickly the Coronavirus has swept the world. Think of all the lives that are being disrupted. I think about Fulton and how he is very vulnerable to viruses. If he should catch this one, it would be a very serious situation. He’s already been in the front lines of life and death, facing other viruses. According to Dr. Michael Wasserman, president of the California Association of Long-Term Care, “This is the greatest threat to nursing home residents that we have seen in many years, if not ever.”

In spite of these fears and dire predictions, God is still very much in control. So, when you pray for Fulton. Pray not only for him but for the 1.5 million people who live in nursing homes. Let us claim for our lives and the life of Fulton, Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Your Friend,
Dawson

  1. Amen and amen!! Praying the Lord will remove this from us and will keep those most vulnerable safe!

  2. Dawson,

I will continue to pray for Fulton. It is a privilege and an honor.

Please pray for my Dad. After 73 years of marriage, my Dad had to go to a nursing home. My Dad LeRoy is 95 and my Mom Ruby is 93.

The nursing home is closed to all visitors because of the Coronavirus.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of my sister’s death. A day for my parents to be together.

The blessings of the Lord’s presence is what will get them through it and will also get you and Ruth and Fulton through this.

    May God be praised,

  3. Dear LORD, Isaih 41:10 gives us hope and strength and we praise you for giving us favor and assurance that you are in the midst of all circumstances. We praise you because your Word says “Do not fear” 365 times in The Bible, and so we praise you because you know us, so very well! And can help us to grow out of this place of fear that as humans we so often fall into!! We ask you to put a hedge of protection around Fulton and protect him from the Corona virus. And we also ask you to calm the fears of the family, in the same way Jesus calmed the raging sea, and brought stillness and quite, upon the water. We pray for all those in nursing homes and the homeless on the streets that you protect them, for you say that you bless those who are poor!! Be close, and visible in this most trying time. In Jesus name AMEN

  4. Hello Dawson,
Thank you for those comforting words from Isaiah. Our son has become one of the vulnerable in our town now, also. John is undergoing bi-weekly chemo treatment for colon cancer. It leaves him unable to return to work for 2 to 3 days sometimes. We have been fortunate to be able to help cover some of his treatment costs that are not fully covered by his health insurance. I will continue to pray for Fulton and your dear family. Please add our son, John, to your prayer list. That would give us much peace of mind.

    Blessings,
