If you recall, I’ve been sharing my ongoing saga of Fulton and his love for hats. He likes hats with the University of Alabama and New England Patriots on them. His all-time favorite store is called Lids. They are famous for their many hats.
A few weeks ago, my good friend, Kenny Davis, and I took Fulton to a Lid’s store, 40 minutes away. We bought him a couple of more hats. The salesman there told us one of the largest Lid’s stores in the country is in Nashville. So, of course, we had to visit it. You never know what you will find at another Lid’s store.
Sure enough we got there, and found the store. It was at least twice as big as the other. Fulton was all eyes. He was in hat heaven. I ended up buying him another hat because he really liked it. It had, Roll Tide, written on it. After a little while, Fulton became tired and we brought him back to the nursing home. I asked myself, why do you haul him around to these stores? The answer is simple, he loves Lids and I love him! No Lid’s store is too big for my son, no hat too small.
“Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14
When I’m helping my son get hats, I’m doing it in love!
