Dear Praying Friend,
I love it when Fulton laughs, especially when someone else gets him going and he can hardly stop. I’m referring to his friend, Paige. Paige and Fulton worked together up until the accident. They always joked around, having all kinds of laughs. Paige is still working at O’Charley’s, after all this time.
Friday is field trip day for Fulton. We try to take him somewhere other than the nursing home. If you ask him where he would like to go, he always says the same thing, O’Charley’s. He knows Paige is going to be there and there will be plenty of laughs. For example, Paige hates it when Fulton comes dressed as an Alabama football fan. That sets Paige off and she starts saying loudly, “Fulton you keep this up, I’m going to wheel you out by the dumpster and leave you there.” Fulton couldn’t stop laughing. Another time she said, on a particularly cold and windy day, “Fulton, if you don’t start dressing right, I’m going to wheel you out and leave you in the parking lot.” Fulton loves Paige, still friends after all this time. I’m so glad he has her. What a gift of God she is!
