Here we are at the Thanksgiving season. What a time to be with God, family and friends as we thank God for the many things He’s done in our lives.
For example, a couple of weeks ago one of the nurses set up a FaceTime with Fulton. I didn’t even know she was going to do it, as busy as she was. I was upstairs when Ruth Hill called me. There was Fulton, on her IPad. I could see him looking at his specialized computer. I said, “Son, what do you want to tell to me? He pointed his finger, touching the screen, and I heard a deep computerized voice say, “I love you.” I felt overwhelmed and deeply touched.
I’ve often wondered what his first words would be. After these ten long years, there they were, “I love you,” coming through a computerized voice. It was a priceless moment, one I shall never forget.
How awesome it must be when we stop and tell the heavenly Father of our love for Him. That too is priceless!
“O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth!” (Psalm 8:9)
