"Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident."

Even Then I Will Be Confident

Here’s a word from Dawson…

Listen to what David had to say in Psalm 27:3. You want to talk about confidence, listen to this, “Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear.”

How’d you like a whole army coming after you to kill you? David had that. He said, “I will not fear.”

“Though war break out against me, [a whole war being fought over David] even then I will be confident.”

Are you confident tonight?

The one who gave David the mojo, can give it to you. It’s God. He wants you to walk in confidence and not let anybody take your confidence from you. Be like David, say, even though this and even though that…I’m going to be confident. I’m going to trust God no matter what. Got to get that mojo back!

As Dawson’s wise words teach, godly confidence comes from communicating to God through prayer.  That’s why we want to pray for you. Our team meets every Tuesday and Thursday to do just that. Share your prayer request with us and it will be our honor take you and your need before the God who gives us confidence.

  1. Yes, thank you please, pray for me and others like me who are federal employees and being forced to take the COVID-19 shot or face disciplinary action up to termination.
With termination, like many others in our situation, we lose our lively hood, means to support our families, pay our mortgage our household expenses, we lose our health insurance for us and our families, we lose our pension and our retirement. Some of us have invested ten, fifteen even twenty years into our jobs. The mandate has taken our right to decide on our own health choices, hold off on getting a shot when we have stronger antibodies, being survivors of COVID.

I appreciate your prayer and hope I can continue to hold the line, unfortunately if it is take a shot or lose a career I love, I really need God’s guidance to make a decision that honors God first and helps me sustain and provide for my family.
