Psalm 31:19

That Big Smile

Dear Praying Friend,

I trust all is well with you, knowing God is working in our lives. We’ll never know this side of heaven all that God has done for us. If we did, it would blow our minds. I went to see Fulton a few days ago at the hospital, he looked awful. He looked like a homeless person, just off the streets of LA. We talked for a little while and he soon fell deep asleep.

As I headed back to the car, I grieved over his broken body and wondered if I would ever see that big smile again. God knew I was hurting; He gave me a picker upper. Later, I received a picture from one of the nurses at the nursing home. She had gone to visit him and took a selfie of them together. There he was in the picture with that big smile and a heart full of joy. I was so encouraged. The Lord is amazing! He knows what we need!

Shelby and Fulton

A special thanks to Shelby from the nursing home.
God used your selfie to encourage us all!!

How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.” Psalm 31:19

Update: Fulton has since been released from the hospital and is back at the nursing home. Praise the Lord for bringing him through, yet again!

Your Friend,
Dawson

  1. ❤❤❤ This pic, priceless!! Praising God for this encouragement, specifically for you Dawson, and now all of us!!🙌

  2. What happiness that bright, happy smile of Fulton brings. This picture is a treasure.

Bless that young nurse who cared, who did the out of the ordinary, who touched Fulton, and brought out that smile and let you see Dawson. Thank you for sharing with us.

    The smile is there.

satan (I don’t capitalize his name) means it for bad, GOD MEANS IT FOR GOOD, and we see again the GLORY OF GOD. “Oh! Father, thank you for your great love, wherewith You love us (Fulton, his family, all of us) who watch Your amazing story of love and faithfulness, GOD!”

  3. What happiness that bright, happy smile brings. Bless that young nurse who cared, did the out of the ordinary, touched Fulton, and brought out that smile.
satan (I don’t capitalize his name) means for bad, GOD MEANS FOR GOOD. Again GOD gets the GLORY.
