“Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

Bad Hair Days

I hope all is well with you during this crazy, crazy time. Every day we are reminded that things aren’t what they were. Take your hair for instance, it’s not the same. It probably isn’t looking all that well.

Then there’s Fulton. He hasn’t had a haircut in at least 5 months, and there wasn’t going to be anyway to get him one anytime soon. The nursing home was in a strict lockdown. Between his hair and beard, he looked like he spent many weeks living under a bridge. It bothered me. I didn’t want people seeing him all disheveled. I talked to his nurse on the phone, she was sympathetic but there was nothing she could do. A lockdown is a lockdown, we were stuck.

But God in His infinite love, had a plan. One of the staff guys had cut hair a little bit before. So, they talked Fulton into a major haircut along with his beard. I was thrilled! My son got a haircut, all is well. This little experience in my life reminds me of God. He longs for us to look our best as we are his children. God will make a way. He always does.

Your Friend,

“Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Luke 12:7

  1. Love that the Lord knows how many hairs we have. But, as I read your post, what came to mind 🎶God will make a way, when there seems to be no way🎶. Still praying God will provide a way for app (?) that will possible for Fulton to talk. Love y’all

  2. I believe God cares about the details of our lives and love how He made a way for Fulton to get a hair cut. I know not being able to see him has been very hard. May God continue to bless you and Fulton.
